Utterly. Useless. Don't even bother, it's a waste of time.

Absolutely useless. Have been in this program for nearly a year and still have no job. I've been told of plenty of jobs that my job search assistant has put an application in for me, but after two weeks I never hear about them again.

My weekly meetings are actually tri-weekly, and they consist of "hi, how's the job search going?" "Still looking" "oh well, see you next week"

These people seem to be trained in job creation without any real understanding of mental illness. one "trainor" decided he knew when people were lying and decided it might be a good idea to ask a class to come up with answers to his questions in order to teach. i doubt he understood how anxious this could make one feel

At my initial meeting I was told I wouldn't be forced into a role I'm unsuitable for. I have autism, 2 degrees in political science and international relations, a certificate in business administration and 1 years experience in administration and the best my consultant could do for me was to fill out an applications for McDonald's. Later I got a job as a security guard on my own initiative and Ostara wouldn't even pay for the certificates or license. I had to pay over 300 dollars of my own 500 dollar Centrelink fortnightly pay to do Ostara's job for them. Absolutely useless as a disability job provider. Total waste of government money, this should be a scandal. Totally qualified and willing to work people and Ostara is too lazy to do even the most basic effort for them.
